Finally - someone else gets it.

"A lot of people think demographics alone will bring about change and it won't," said Gail Christopher, who heads the W.K. Kellogg Foundation's America Healing project on racial equity. "If attitudes and behaviors don't change, demographics will just mean we'll have a majority population that is low-income, improperly educated, disproportionately incarcerated with greater health disparities."

  1. Wow. I'm in awe. After years and years of saying that very thing someone else FINALLY gets it.

Nice to see. And sad, but true.

What this nation needs is not a tide change in demographics; it needs an overhaul of Affirmative Action and an outright ban on any program that seeks to bolster the needs of a specific race.

Your skin color does not determine your class. I know plenty of blacks who are much better off than some whites I know. I also know some whites who are wealthier than most hispanics And I know a few hispanics who have more class than most whites. Your skin color says nothing of your heart and soul. It does not lend to or take away from the person you are; the person you want to become.

Every time someone pulls the race card all you do is diminish the progress you have made in becoming a better person. Quite honestly I am sick of hearing it. Sick and tired of every time I read an article, watch a TV program, visit a place someone has to create a situation of unrest - racial differences, class warfare, gender preferences. Come on America. Get a damn grip on reality and start living up to the moral values your parents taught you at an early age.
